Daycare brings Halloween spirit to Fargo nursing home — Minot Community news

FARGO — It's not Halloween yet, but a local daycare is bringing the holiday spirit right to a Fargo nursing home. It's an annual tradition at the Good Samaritan Society in Fargo. On Thursday, Oct. 29, over a dozen trick-or-treaters from Kid-Ventures in Horace visited the nursing home, strolling through the halls as firefighters, princesses and dinosaurs while seniors waited patiently to fill their baskets with candy. One resident says she was overjoyed to see both the kids and her friends get in costume. "Well, they were so excited and, of course, probably with candy made it more exciting," said Roberta Radford of the Good Samaritan Society. Another reason why Roberta says she was excited to give away candy is because it had been countless years since she was last able to. ]]>
